This super-afforable mini soil thermometer is ideal to have on hand for checking soil temperatures when germinating and propagating. The probe measures 12.3cms long and the dial face is 2.5cms wide. The pocket-protector with clip is included too.
It's super-sensitive so quickly gives you a temperature reading in 1 degree increments when moving from plant to plant. As the range goes from -10 to 110 degrees Celsius it can also be used for food and drinks, and be used for soil indoors and out.
Works best in finer substrates. In chunkier substrates with a lot of air space readings won't be as accurate. Please note the size as the dial is quite small.
